The toothache started when I woke up on a Tuesday morning.

What to do ?
We are heading to HK in a short while and I just have to live with the pain…

I dunno how is it possible but yeap.. I bear with it for 2 days. But the pain became super unbearable on wednesday night, I woke up for a painkiller and coax myself back to bed. My face was swollen when I woke up on Thursday. That’s when I knew I had to inform Kervin. Ya…. Silly me. I been keeping it a secret coz I don’t want him to fuss over me and spoil his holiday. i even went as far as goggling for expat dentist in HK but i preferred to visit my dentist in SG.

Finally.. i went to my dentist on Sunday. The dentist suggested an immediate surgery but i refused. i haven’t been in office for days.. i need to go back at least a day or two. The dentist gave me some painkiller and antibiotics for the pain and super swollen gums.

I went back to work on Monday and decided to go for the surgery after lotsa of encouragements from my colleagues. I reached JP and my dentist is closed !!! aaaargh !! i spoke to them in the afternoon and they didnt mention abt closing in the evening. !!

Anyway, since i aldy decided to do it.. i went to Q&M which is highly recommended by kor. I had a quick dinner and back to the dreadful dentist chair.

George started by rubbing antiseptic on my affected tooth and gums before giving me several injections.

George asked ‘any question before we start?’
Me in a timid voice ‘how long?’
George replied ’20 mins’

I glanced at the clock, its 8.20pm, it should be over by 8.40pm.
be strong, be brave, you are not the first nor the last to remove a wisdom tooth. There are pple who managed to remove 2 / 4.
I am only taking out one little tooth.

‘let’s start!’ he said.

It was over in a couple of minutes ! hahaha ! George is really a good dentist. I know why kor highly recommended him ! he’s patience, encouraging, reassuring and he even crack a couple of jokes to make me laugh !! 🙂

Pumpkin insisted on taking taxi home even though im okie with taking the train. So nice of him.

He gave me 6 days MC . I woke up at 6am with a monster headache. In fact, I woke up groaning…. Drag myself out of bed, had some milo and pop couple of pills and drag my sorry ass back to bed. The painkiller kick in and I felt like a human again.

Jie & Jen visited me ! Jen even got flowers for me! 🙂
