being short

so, what happen?

jie & i hear this so often. looking at my bro & us. u will be left wondering.. so, what happen? why is our bro so tall, he like 1.8m and we r only 1.52cm.

the best answer we came out with – coz we split/share everything. including height.

i’m still lookin for the peaks of being short, not much. mostly disadvantages. i cant reach the office cabinet, i am ‘over-shadow’ on mrt, i feel like a drawf sometimes.

but given a choice. yes, i will want to be short. 😉 woman, we whine abt life but we stick to what we have.if u dont get my jokes

theme: lame

must be one of the lamest ride. we kinda realise something is wrong with this particular ride – ppl came out with the strangest laugh.
tiny little cart, operated by a staff and off we go.
the ride took abt 30 second, went through endless faulty displays, sure, it was dark but seriously what the point of the ride when there’s nothing to see or wow-abt?!
leaving us in a state of puzzlement.

a guy walk out to us & gave us a coupon, inviting us to play this shooting game. we accepted his offer gamely.
i declined the chance of embarrassing myself, letting my boy take his place behind the rifle.

first shot: guy hit the yellow star.
my tots: way to go !
second shot: guy hit the green star
my tots: woah. watch out. my guy is good at this.

that’s when the staff informed us “oh u gotta hit the centre of the star to win a prize”
guy turned ard & gave me a look saying “huh? what the point of the star den?”
i replied him with a “dumb game, dumbo rule look”
duh. burn 2 of his 3 chances just like that.

no. we don’t want the prizes. just find the rules ridiculous.. seriously, might as well use a head pins or ants as the target.

exploring genting & we came across the cable car. woah. what an idea. to take a ride at nite, imagine how romantic & fun that will be.

i was so wrong !

cable car was shaking, the sound was terrifying, oh dear, i still have the sound running in my head. the 10mins ride was horrifying. i was holding on to myself throughout the journey, reminding myself to breath (breath girl. in & out) & tried to tok to guy.

brave-y me. stood up at guy’s encouragement & took a peek out the window.

yes, i admitted. shaky legs when we reached the bus terminal. exaggerating-NOT. for someone who don’t have a issue with height. i’m scared out of my wits !

and there the return journey to made.

my dear guy asked me a silly qn on the uphill journey ‘how? if the cable car in front of us suddenly drop?” *stunned “i dunno ! why are u asking me?!” he laughed.

for a bad second, guy got me tinking abt the worse case scenario & i was mentally preparing a will !

despite all the terror, it was a nice ride – the trees are awesome, fresh cooling air, and i love birds singing, the view man, the view.loved it.

take it as a bravery test.

had this idea of going somewhere with guy when i was in hk. fun isnt? fun being my middle name. haha ! my middle name seems to changed weekly – from clumsy / tired / cane … anyway the mini-getaway had to be nearby-over-the-wkend-kinda-tink.untitledgenting

quick discussion & equally quick decision & we settled for genting. i will not tot abt crossing the ‘borders’ without my knight. sound as if we are going iraq or something. hehe

my last trip to genting was like, 15-18 yrs ago with my family. fleeting memories of the cold weather / slope..

motive: wahaha i have a motive? not really. just a funny tot. to find out guy’s bad habits ! maybe he snore very loudly? maybe he sleep-walk? maybe he tok in his slp, just like my jie.. yeap, he get to see my bad habits… what? u really think i’m a angel?! maybe i throw towels on the floor. joking guy ! :p

day 1 -10.30pm lavender mrt – 5am genting resort hotel – slp.
notes: long bus ride. bearable with the mini-tv. upsetting abt lights-off, no reading for me ;( couldn’t slp much.. this explain the running nose.

day 2 – theme park – casino – sick – slp
notes: super long que. we que for a ride, took abt 45mins?! there a baby beside us got grumpy. after awhile, i turn to guy “I’m getting grumpy too!” the awesome thing abt the ride was – another baby grab my finger. that.was.a.moment.

day 3 – 2pm first world lobby – 9.30pm sg tamah jurong – supper – home
notes: we both concluded going genting is a test-your-patience-tinky. i’m fine with the waiting, it helps having him ard. ( i just had to be mushy in my blog?! wahaha)patience
