woohoo !!
that’s my first ‘look’ of the day.
18th april is our photo shoot ! 3 locations, 3 looks, 3 hair-dos !
it rained in the morning ! met him for mcd breakfast at jp ! quick bite & make our way to my dream wedding.
we got there at 10.30am, as instructed but the shop was closed !! waited for 5 mins and we call Ivy, our make up artist. no answer !! nerve-wracking few mins.. !! finally, Ivy arrived at 10.40am. she was caught in d mrt jam.
she got us settled down & its time for make up.
i was told to look thru the catalogs again to see what kinda make-up / hair i like or dislike.
erm.. honestly, i dont hv any idea !
we started chit-chatting and she goes ‘you look quite cute. how abt doing ur face & hair in those cute / princess look’
*shrug. fine with me. i’m easy going.
the make up / trying of gowns took abt 1hr45mins !
the 2nd gown is too loose & the auntie work magic on the dress.
we finally set off at abt 1pm, the sun is out ! hooray !
grab our stuff & climb into the huge van. selfish me occupied 2 seats. one for my butt, the other for ‘d rest of d gowns’

*the wonders of make up !
look at those hair? its extension !! Ivy applied temp colour on my hair, turning my black hair into brown. look at my bimbo-eyelashes and perfect eye brown ! hehe the gown.. the gown is super tight. i couldnt breath normally. and last, i wore this princess-looking hairband !
1st location – blair street.

moving on to 2nd location – wilkie road
the driver pulled out a table, 2 chairs, bird cage, flowers & a portable changing room.
Ivy help me changed, and did my make up under a big tree !
this time round i have a veil, 3 hairbands (yes, 3!) AND a white gown. this time heavier den the first gown. the clip-on earring is super tight !!
throughout the photo shoot, i saw lotsa bugs making their way to my gown. these little creatures simply hop onto my gown. aargh !!
i freaked out when the photographer told me to sit down !! yes, i did it. wait for the photos..
next location – wikie road empty field.
the driver pulled out a ladder and tie a swing to the tree. ta-dah !! the uncle hold on to the swing while i sit !
next location – train track !
i asked our photographer.. can i wear my red shoes? see the train truck, there’s no way i can wear heels. he hesitated but agreed ! hhahaaa !!
we saw another couple at the train truck. erm… the groom seems a little old.
pit stop – mosque’s toilet.
i really need to ‘go’ and was told to use the mosque toilet. i’m like.. reallllyyy?
the nice pple at the mosque let us use their bathroom. 🙂
changed in the portable changing room aka tent. make up & hair-do.
next location – marina bay sands.
wow. the place is packed. kinda shy.
last shot is a kissing pose.
the end.
poor pumpkin, he don’t understand the photographer’s instruction. lotsa times, he seems lost & uncertain. somehow, i became his translator.
took a taxi home. brought fried bee hoon + fish slice bee hoon for myself. so hungry !! i hardly eat. no mood to eat..
got home & the wee family got excited ! this is how i look:
*there are at least 80 bobby pins in my hair !!
*with pumpkin !
*the fake eyelashes are so long.. it touched my glasses ! 🙂

that’s it !
40 mins in the bathroom !! took abt 10mins to remove my hair up, 20 mins of conditioning my hair .. the hairspray are crazy !
